Family law is rarely just a legal process—it is a deeply personal transition that affects each person and family differently. LeAnn brings a relationship-centered approach to her work, helping clients feel heard, supported, and understood while guiding them through the legal decisions ahead with clarity and care.

For LeAnn, family law is a natural continuation of a career built around supporting individuals and families during some of life’s most challenging moments. Before becoming an attorney, she served as the Social Services Director for a skilled nursing facility and worked as a Student Support Specialist with at-risk youth. That background gave her a strong foundation in advocacy, relationship building, and client-focused service—skills she now brings to her family law practice.

LeAnn earned her Juris Doctor from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. She also holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as Bachelor’s degrees in Social Work and Psychology from Western Carolina University.

During law school, LeAnn was active in leadership and service. She served as Editor-in-Chief of the Campbell Law Observer, Treasurer of the Student Bar Association, and Vice President of the Health Law Association. She also worked in the admissions office and participated in the Family Law Clinic as a 3L, where she continued developing her passion for helping clients through difficult family transitions.

LeAnn’s academic work was also published in two law journals, with research focused on employment law and reality television participants and the intersection of gender stereotypes and the criminal justice system for women on death row.
