Biography
When going through a divorce, it helps to have an advocate who can tell your story. Jack Taggart understands the power of storytelling in family law. Prior to beginning his legal career, Jack worked in the film industry where he honed his skills in crafting compelling stories. His love of family law was born out of his desire to help people tell their story in a clear and impactful way.
Jack is committed to representing his clients with dedication, integrity, and unwavering advocacy. While working tirelessly to protect his clients’ interests, he also provides a calm, reassuring presence during a stressful time. By combining thoughtful guidance with determined representation, Jack helps clients navigate challenges with confidence and peace of mind.
Jack graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law and immediately began a career in family law. In his years of experience, he has helped people navigate the complexities of child custody, third-party custody, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution, domestic violence, divorce, mediation, premarital and separation agreements.

Outside of work, Jack is a loving husband and father to five children. An avid movie buff, Jack loves to watch films and television shows across all genres and eras. When time allows, he still enjoys creative writing.
