Biography
Family law is personal—and when you’re facing change, you need an attorney who can bring both strategy and steadiness to the table. Amanda Knight represents clients across a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody and support, domestic violence, spousal support, and equitable distribution. Her approach is focused on protecting what matters most while helping clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the process.
Amanda is a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in Family Law—a distinction held by fewer than 2% of family law practitioners statewide. She has also been recognized by independent attorney rating organizations including Super Lawyers and Avvo.
A graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law, Amanda is known for combining strong advocacy with civility and professionalism—because outcomes matter, and so does the way you get there.
“Changes in the family, especially ones involving legal proceedings, are always challenging. Our job as attorneys is to take as much of the burden off our clients as possible, and also reassure them that happier days are in their future.” — Amanda Knight
