Pongo was recently adopted from SE GSP (German Short haired Pointer) Rescue. He was found wandering the streets of Greenville, SC and was extremely malnourished. We drove to Granite Falls to meet him and the GSP Rescue Volunteer who was fostering him. He is a big, tall, goofy ball of love. He loves to eat (he could medal in counter surfing), he loves to run (could also medal in long distance) and he has discovered a love of tennis balls (he can fit 2 in his mouth at a time). He loves playing with our daughter’s GSP and her GSP puppy, and is really just a big puppy himself (he is around 2 years old and GSPs are puppies until age 3). He loves cuddling on the couch, with one of his many toys in his mouth, but his favorite place is stealing my husband’s spot on the bed. He usually sleeps at the foot of our bed but has recently discovered how comfy it is to sneak in between us and sleep with his head on our pillow.
Jaxon is Amanda’s 7-year-old Golden Doodle and the office’s resident goofball. With his playful personality and sweet nature, he quickly became a favorite among the team. Whether he’s digging in sandboxes or chasing after his beloved squeaky balls, Jaxon is always up for some fun. He also likes to raid the office trashcans for any snacks left behind at the end of the day. Jaxon brings joy and laughter to the office when he visits, and he’s the perfect example of how a little fun can make work feel a lot more like home.
Mr. Wiggles is a purebred Golden Retriever, who was born May 29, 2025, so he is still quite the baby and new to my family. He loves to chew everything, fetch everything, chase my toddler, and go on walks. He has his own Instagram – MrWiggletheGolden that I just started. He survived parvo when he was still with his litter, so he’s quite the fighter. He’s in puppy school each week and is a fast learner.
Sonny is my soul dog. We adopted him from Saving Grace Animal Rescue in February 2022, shortly after our Doberman passed away. We needed a dog full of love to help us with our grief, and Sonny is just that and so much more! He is just 3 ½ years old, but with a gentle old soul. He gives endless cuddles and his favorite form of greeting is to jump in your lap and giving you kisses (he has no idea he is 85lbs!). Sonny was born to be an office dog and loves his role as Executive Officer of Emotional Support. He loves car rides, couch cuddles, and cookies.
Boston is our two-year-old Australian cattle dog/German Shepard/Catahoula leopard dog mix (a.k.a. 45lbs of non-stop energy), who loves as hard as he plays. He is incredibly smart and athletic, acing every dog sport and obedience class he has tried – currently he is working on his agility skills – and it has been a joy becoming a better trainer alongside him.
My best pal is my 10 year old Tiger Lily. She is an 8th generation labradoodle we received because the children wanted a pet and it had to be hypoallergenic-
She is the happiest little lady and could literally be a movie star with her sparkly personality and her ability to love literally every being she knows.
She leaves an imprint on all and she is so well behaved that she often in our office comforting those going through the most difficult times in their lives.
Benny is a beagle I adopted as an adult dog out of a foster care situation. I don’t know much about his origins, but he is about six years old. He has a very low key and docile personality. He loves to sniff around outside and snuggle with his people on the couch.
