When you’re facing a family law matter, you need more than legal answers—you need a plan, a steady advocate, and a clear path forward. Hank brings a unique blend of executive leadership and family law training to Ellis Family Law, helping clients navigate stressful transitions with practical strategy, calm guidance, and determined advocacy.
A longtime North Carolina resident, Hank earned his undergraduate degree from UNC Chapel Hill and has called the Triangle home for more than 25 years. After building years of experience in the business world, he made a purposeful transition into the practice of law, graduating from North Carolina Central University School of Law. During his time at NCCU, Hank discovered a strong passion for family law and recognized it as a meaningful way to serve families in his community.
Hank’s background in corporate negotiation and strategic deal-making is a powerful advantage in family law. He knows how to evaluate options, anticipate pressure points, and work toward resolutions that protect what matters most—especially when emotions and uncertainty run high.
As a proud member of the Ellis Family Law team, Hank is committed to helping clients feel heard and guided throughout the process—while advocating vigorously for outcomes that hold up long-term.
Outside the office, Hank enjoys time with his family, creating art and music, and traveling.
